Follow The A Button on Twitter

Click to Follow on Twitter

The A Button will now tweet on Twitter about twits. We may even tweet just about twiddling out thumbs as a result of a twitch from playing Twisted Metal twelve times in one Twixt fueled, twin turbo charged session. Doesn’t that have a twang to it when you tweet it out loud?

Assassin’s Creed’s Altaïr Down on His Luck

Altair copy

After his 15 minutes of fame from acquiring a Piece of Eden by killing Al Mualim, Altaïr found it hard to make some cash. “Unable to actually use the Piece of Eden on my own, and with all of the Knights of the Templar dead, my assassin brother and I didn’t really have any work. Al Mualim was our leader so we didn’t know what to do after that. Things got hard,”  said Altaïr. Unable to feed himself from a dishonest day’s work, Altaïr started to rely on theft more than before to nourish himself day-to-day. “I eventually got caught got and couldn’t fight my way out of it. This one vendor had been suspicious of me stealing from him all month and finally caught me by having about 15 guards attack me and hold me down. I ran out of luck and I’m set to have a trial on the 27th of this month.”

Flash Game Console Becomes Reality; More Addicting Than PCP

Flash Console

XKCD knows how addicting Flash games can be, and apparently so does Adobe. In effort to compete with the Wii and capture casual gamers, Adobe has released a minimal gaming console that runs a skeleton browser based on Mozilla Firefox that uses the Gecko layout engine and with Flash 10 taking care of the GUI. Over 300 Flash games ship with the console, including Adult Swim’s Zombie Hooker Nightmare, and more can be downloaded online. An initial three day testing run of the console with 400 testers proved to be very successful. Testers were given the option of eating a meal or playing on the console till the next feeding time. After playing the console once, 90% of the testers chose the console over food for the remaining two days and were taken to the hospital shortly after. Adobe hails these results as very positive. The unnamed console, presumably named something along the lines of the “Flash Box” will be released around the holiday season and supports keyboard, mouse, and controller input.

Playstation 3 Comes Out of the Closet

Gay PS3

You might have noticed some excess sparkle in your background after the 3.00 firmware update for the PS3. That would be because the PS3 is finally coming out of the closet. That’s right, no more of that pretending and no more overcompensating to prove its masculinity. The PS3 is going to be who it wants to be. Can’t you accept it for that? It’s even slimmed down for you.
